Why haven’t I received my ticket yet?
The tickets we sell through the website are eTickets. Electronic tickets, we do not post anything to you. When you bought them PayPal will have sent you a receipt by email. Print and bring that PayPal receipt along with photo ID to the box office to exchange for wristbands. You can collect wristbands from 4pm on the day of the event.
Alternatively, you can use the FAST TICKET code we’ll send out shortly before each event. This is much quicker but with the correct code and your name anyone can claim your tickets. We do NOT ask for ID even if the person is of the opposite gender to the name. Treat the FAST TICKET code as if it is your tickets – please look after it.
How do I transfer my ticket(s) to someone else?
Forward the original PayPal receipt that was emailed to you from that email account to email@example.com with the name of the new owner at the top and we will change the wristband collection sheet accordingly. The new owner will be able to claim the tickets with a print out of the PayPal receipt and photo ID. The FAST TICKET code will be disabled but this is a safer option just in case you don’t receive the email with your code.
When does the festival site open & close?
The campsite opens at 1pm on Friday for people who have tickets to the warm-up party. The Kelburn Garden Party opens officially on Saturday at midday. We will be putting on a special warm-up party on the Friday night for the early starters featuring selected bands on the Pyramid Stage, and the inaugural Kelburn Funk Club in the Wee Butee tent (Friday warm-up party tickets cost £10 extra – buy in advance here). Food and drink will be available too. The festival closes at 3am on Monday morning, and the campsite closes on Monday evening.
Where do I collect my wristband from?
Once you arrive at Kelburn you will need to swap your ticket for a security wristband in order to enter the festival site. You can exchange your ticket for a wristband at the festival office which is in the Pavilion (building beside the campsite) for The Garden Party and in the small cafe beneath the square at other events. DO NOT BUY WRISTBANDS FROM ANYONE OUTSIDE THE BOX OFFICE. We control the wristbands very carefully, always inspect at the entrance and our excellent security team know how to spot fake, re-used and invalidated wristbands. If you are found with an inappropriate wristband it will be confiscated and you will have to buy a new full price ticket or leave the site.
What is the environmental deposit?
In an effort to keep the campsite site nice and clean for everyone, and to discourage tent abandonment, we are instituting an environmental deposit. Everyone who camps must pay a £5 deposit when collecting their wristbands from box office. At the end of the event all you have to do to get your deposit back is hand in a filled rubbish sack and show us that you have packed your tent away.
How much does it cost to park my car, caravan or van?
We know that many people need to drive to Kelburn but to encourage car sharing we charge car parking fee. Regular cars cost £5. Long wheel-base vehicle that take up 2 car-size parking spaces but are not slept in cost £10. Pitches for campervans, caravans (due to space your car will probably have to be detached and parked in the car park) and vehicles that are slept in cost £15. The same vehicles with awnings cost £20. Please car share, please give lifts, please use public transport.
Where is lost property kept?
During events lost property is kept in the box office. Afterwards it is given the Kelburn Country Centre reception, you can call them on 01475 568 685.
