Amy Duncan is a singer/songwriter and double bassist living in Edinburgh. She has independently produced three albums: Pilgrimage (2006), Story of a Girl (2007) and Potential-Space (2010), and is currently working on a new album with legendary producer Calum Malcolm, which is being funded by Creative Scotland, to be released in the summer of 2012.
“Amy is a very surprising artist. She has a talent for creating songs with a great structure and a melody that writes itself. There is enough detail in the productions that on repeated listens you can’t tell what’s coming next. However, the direction of the melody always feels true, almost as if it was marked out in the snow.”Ark Magazine Glasgow
