Matt Norris & the Moon are a lively folk/indie band from Edinburgh known for their contagious melodies, trumpet swells and folksy fiddle runs. The band have recently signed to indie label 17 seconds records and are due to release their debut EP on 21st May.
Matt Norris & the Moon kicked off 2012 by opening the main stage of the Edinburgh Hogmanay Concert in the Gardens with Primal Scream, Bombay Bicycle Club and Sons & Daughters. The band have played with the likes of Villagers, Ben Howard, Lucy Rose, Rachel Sermanni, Pete Roe, Dry the River, Three Blind Wolves and Withered Hand. They have performed live on Sky News and have been building a dedicated following over the past year or so.
