Ben Vardi aka Duende is a Scottish/Chilean producer, DJ, promoter and percussionist. Drawing inspiration from his South American roots, his sound is a high energy blend of Latin, Carribean & UK bass music. Focussed on bringing positive energy, uplifting sets while his productions seek to push the boundaries of genres and make connections between cultures.
Duende started in Glasgow in 2022 intially as a party. These nights celebrate Latin music and showcase a wide variety of live acts and DJs. These parties channel the carnival energy of Latin America. Past guests include, Volta 45, Los Chinchanos, Manzanita Jr Y Su Junto, Orchestra Boreal, Killabeatmaker, Ritmoscholuteka.
