Hobbes has been DJing since the late 90s, toured internationally on the back of his lauded Trouble club nights in the 00s and launched the Hobbes Music label in 2013. With forward-thinking releases by international artists, HM blurs the lines between dance music and records that work well on your headphones. From dream pop husband-and-wife duo Sarah/Shaun’s five-piece band, Accident Machine’s modern flip of acid house, Gaming’s cut-up breaks-n-bleeps, Exterior’s un-categorisable tour de force (techno-trance-prog?!) and finally Jacksonville plumbing the grooviest depths of classic techno, electro and house motifs, there’s a LOT going on from the HM crew….
