Kelburn Garden Party Terms & Conditions (aged 18+)
Kelburn Arts’ terms and conditions include but are not limited to:
- All ticket tiers for Kelburn Garden Party 2024 are non refundable unless the event is cancelled by Kelburn Arts or local authority due to fault or mismanagement by Kelburn Arts, or by the Scottish Government due to an event such as Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. In the event of cancellation or postponement due to Coronavirus (Covid-19), tickets will be automatically transferred to our rescheduled date or a full refund offered for a limited time.
- Fires of any kind (including barbecues) are not allowed anywhere on site except the official campfire points which may only be lit and tended by Kelburn crew.
- Private generators and sound systems are not allowed anywhere on site and will be confiscated in the first instance of nuisance being caused until the end of the event.
- Cars and large non live-in vehicles may only park in the designated parking fields as instructed by traffic marshals. Parking by festival attendees (including staff, artists and audience members is not permitted on nearby residential streets or Estate paths and roads).
- No vehicles are allowed into the camping fields – please contact us if you have accessibility concerns.
- The car parks and live-in vehicle fields are closed to arrivals at 10pm, vehicles arriving after then will not be allowed onto site. The box office closes at 10pm. You will not be allowed to check-in after this time or access the campsite. Please leave plenty time to travel to Kelburn.
- Live-In Vehicles or Caravans in the camper van field must have an adequate number of Plot Tickets and you must agree to Kelburn’s Live-In Vehicle and Caravan rules as displayed here.
- Live-In Vehicles and Caravans that do not have adequate plot space must pay the appropriate fee to park in the parking field and may NOT be lived and/or slept in. ** PLEASE BUY YOUR PLOT TICKET NOW **
- No glass bottles are allowed on site.
- Alcohol not purchased at Kelburn may only be consumed in the campsite, bag and body searches will be in effect for entry into the arena.
- Please respect the family camping areas by being quiet after 8pm and behaving considerately. Otherwise you may be asked to relocate to general camping, where you should be considerate and quiet after dusk.
- All full ticket holders must pay a returnable* £10 Environmental Bond and sign up to the festivals respect agenda at box office when collecting wristbands. If your wristband is damaged, defaced or removed then we will be unable to return your deposit. Environmental Bond returns cannot be processed after 2pm on Monday.
- Car park/campsite/Box Office arrival times:
- Thursday 4th July: 4pm – 10pm on Thursday (4 Day Ticket Holders Only)
- Friday 5th July: 2pm – 10pm (box office opens at 2pm – 10pm)
- Saturday 6th July: 9AM – 10pm (box office opens at 10am – 10pm)
- Sunday 7th July: 9AM – 8pm (box office 10am – 8pm)
- All ticket holders must have vacated camping and festival facilities (including car parking) by 1pm after their ticket was valid (Weekend Ticket holders must have left by 1pm on the 8th July)

- Kelburn Garden Party operates a “Challenge 25” policy. If you are over 18 but look like you may be under 25 you must bring photo ID to get an adult wristband and be allowed to buy / consume alcohol on-site. Bar staff are instructed to challenge for ID regardless of wristband type.
- Kelburn Garden Party is a welcoming and celebratory atmosphere, we are all one big family on a music art adventure. We come together as artists, crew and audiences to create and maintain a safer space experience. We do not tolerate behaviour which endangers the atmosphere or puts at risk that safer space. We do have a 24 hour welfare team as well as first aid and security on site, come and say hello. More information about safer spaces at festivals and how to do festivals safely is available here.
- Dogs are not allowed at Kelburn Garden Party, some members of our crew, who live and work onsite for a a few weeks may have their dogs with them.
- All attendees (including guardians on behalf of their children) agree to be photographed and filmed and for any images and footage to be used for promotion by Kelburn Arts.
- Illegal drug use will not be tolerated at Kelburn. Please do not bring and/or take drugs. Searches will be carried out by security and, if you are found to have any illegal drugs, they will be confiscated, you will not be admitted and the police will be informed.
- All attendees agree to have their person, tent, vehicle and any other property searched by members of the security and / or Kelburn management team.
- Kelburn Arts will not be held liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained before, during or after the event unless proved to be caused by the negligence of Kelburn Arts.
- Kelburn is a working country centre situated within a glen, consequently there is a wide variety of walking surfaces. You must take particular care when outside the central events area and in the glen and ensure you return to lit areas before dusk. As you would expect accidents are possible so please dress appropriately with appropriate footwear and take care of yourselves and others.
- Each ticket is an easily printable document that will be emailed to you. The name on the ticket is not checked against ID unless there is a problem scanning the ticket. If someone has a copy of your ticket they can claim your wristband(s). We cannot be held responsible for the security of your ticket any more than we would be responsible for you losing a traditional physical ticket. Please be careful.
- If your wristband is damaged or broken go straight to box office to request a replacement. If you lose your wristband then we will be unable to replace it even if you can prove that you purchased a ticket. If you are concerned that your wristband is damaged or may fall off, we will be happy to replace it. If you come to us with a wristband that has come off of your wrist completely please bring your ticket or proof that you purchased a ticket or we will be unable to replace it.
- Kelburn Arts reserves the right to refuse entry without explanation or appeal.
- Kelburn Arts reserves the right to amend these T&Cs without notice.
Kelburn Garden Party Terms & Conditions (4 day weekend tickets)
Our 4 day weekend tickets allows those with the ticket to arrive early and extend their festival experience. Ticket holders are subject to all the normal T&C’s detailed above however they have extra conditions:
- To access the Thursday event, you must have purchased a 4 day weekend ticket, upgrades may be available, but this cannot be guaranteed.
- Box office will open at 16:00 on Thursday 4th July – access to the campsite and live-in vehicle field will only be allowed to 4 day weekend Ticket Holders.
- The Thursday Birthday Bolt On ticket allows access to a limited area of the festival arena that will be open from 17:00-0100 on Thursday 4th July and limited early access to certain areas of the festival arena earlier than the Arena Opening time on Friday 5th July
- Under 5’s accompanying an adult with a 4 day weekend ticket will require a relevant 4 day infant weekend ticket (which are free) this is to ensure that we can manage occupant capacity throughout the weekend.
Kelburn Garden Party Terms & Conditions (single day tickets extra conditions)
Day ticket holders are subject to all the normal T&C’s detailed above however they have limited arena, Parking and campsite access times:
Friday Day Tickets: from 2pm on Friday 5th July until 1pm on Saturday 6th July (no re-admission into the arena after 3AM on Saturday 6th).
Saturday Day Tickets 10am on Saturday 6th July until 1pm on Sunday 7th July (no re-admission into the arena after 4AM on Sunday 7th)
Sunday Day Tickets 10am on Sunday until 1pm on Monday (no re-admission into the arena after 3AM on Monday 8th)
All Day Ticket holders must have vacated Campsite and Parking facilities no later than 1pm the day after their ticket became valid for entry. Any day ticket holders onsite after this time will be charged the Tier 5 price for a weekend ticket upgrade.
Kelburn Garden Party Terms & Conditions (aged 0-17)
Kelburn Arts’ terms and conditions include but are not limited to:
- Children under 18 years old may attend KGP with a Youth (13-17 y/o), Child (5-12 y/o) or Infant (Under 5) ticket if accompanied by an appropriate adult guardian.
- Free Range Children and Young People Policy: Children under 13 must be accompanied at all times. Children and young people (anyone aged under 18 years old) are not allowed in the event arena after 9pm without appropriate adult supervision.
- Children under the age of 5 (plus older children at the guardian’s request) are issued with a wristband onto which the guardian’s phone number is written, so that they can be called should the child be found wandering alone/lost.
- All attendees aged 18 and over must buy an adult ticket, Goverment issued ID will be required to receive an adult wristband, or to prove eligibility for either the Youth or Child ticket.
- Kelburn Garden Party follows the “Challenge 25” policy. If you are over 18 but look like you may be under 25 you must bring photo ID to get an adult wristband and be allowed to buy / consume alcohol on-site. Bar staff are instructed to challenge for ID.
- Tickets are non-refundable unless the event / service is cancelled.
- Tickets may only be re-sold via Skiddle’s Reselling platform
- For a more family friendly environment please use the family camping or family live-in field, be quiet after 8pm and behave in a considerate manner.
- All attendees (including guardians on behalf of their children) agree to be photographed and filmed and for the images and footage to be used by Kelburn Arts for promotional purposes.
- Children under 13 do NOT have to pay the returnable £10 environmental bond, but will be asked to agree to the Kelburn Respect Agenda
- Kelburn is a glass-free site, no glass bottles are allowed on site.
- Kelburn Arts will not be held liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained before, during or after the event unless proved to be caused by the negligence of Kelburn Arts.

Parking Terms & Conditions
Kelburn Arts’ terms and conditions include but are not limited to:
- The car parks and live-in vehicle fields open at the same time as the camping fields at the beginning of each event. Anyone arriving before that will be directed off site until the stated opening time.
- The car parks and live-in fields close for arrivals and vehicle movements at 10pm, no vehicles are allowed in after that time. Security will assist drivers wanting to leave site but no vehicles are allowed to park (or return to a parking space) until 10am.
- Taxis and other vehicles may drive through the main site roads after 10pm in order to drop off or pick up attendees but no vehicle may be parked or left (even briefly).
- Any vehicle which gets stuck/broken down after dark must be left until 9am. Kelburn will not recover stuck/broken down vehicles until the morning shift starts, 3rd Party recovery companies will not be permitted access parking or live-in fields after 10pm.
- Kelburn Arts reserves the right to amend these T&Cs without notice.
Live-In Vehicle Terms & Conditions
Kelburn Arts’ terms and conditions include but are not limited to:
- Space is very limited and will sell out, so ensure you buy enough 4x6m plots for your live-in vehicle, getting into and out of it, awning, etc. You are allowed to buy more than one plot.
- 1 Small Tent (2/3 person tent) is allowed as secondary accommodation to the ticketed live-in vehicle. This tent must completely inside your 4m x 6m pitch/plot/plots that you have purchased.
- Pitches/Plots cannot be held or reserved, if you wish to camp together, please arrive together in Convoy and make the gate staff aware, who will try their best to accommodate you. Abuse will not be tolerated
- Any Live-In Vehicles / Caravans which arrive onsite without the relevant ticket will be asked to leave. Or, if capacity allows, the attendee may purchase a car parking ticket (possibly two if its a big vehicle or you are towing) but this cannot be used for living in/sleeping in.
- Kelburn has limited facilities for emptying chemical toilets, and request that where possible these are removed and emptied away from the estate.
- Kelburn will not be held liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained before, during or after the event unless caused by the negligence of Kelburn Arts.
- The car parks and live-in vehicle fields open at the same time as the camping fields at the beginning of each event. Anyone arriving before that will be directed off site until the stated opening time.
- The car parks and live-in fields close at 10pm, no vehicle movement is allowed after that time. Security will assist drivers wanting to leave site but no vehicles are allowed to park (or return to a parking space) until 9am.

Kelburn Arts Ltd. Child Protection Policy
- A child is anyone under the age of 18.
- Children may only attend Kelburn Garden Party if accompanied by a suitable and responsible adult guardian. The guardian is responsible for the welfare of the child at all times.
- Free Range Children and Young People Policy: Children under 13 must be accompanied at all times. Children and young people (anyone aged under 18 years old) are not allowed in the event arena after 9pm without appropriate adult supervision.
- All Kelburn staff, sub-contractors and volunteers who work with children will either be PVG checked or supervised by someone who is PVG checked.
- Lost children should be taken to either the first aid and welfare team or Box Office where they will be looked after by staff who either PVG checked or supervised by someone who is PVG checked.
- Children under the age of 5 (plus older children at the guardian’s request) are issued with a wristband onto which the guardian’s phone number is written.
- If anyone is concerned about the welfare of a child it is their duty to report to first aid and welfare or operation team. Kelburn Arts management will assess the situation and where appropriate contact either Police Scotland or Social Care Direct.
