- You can buy your tickets together but do NOT need to travel on the same buses.
- You can easily change the name of a passenger on-line, instructions here.
- You can print them or display them using the Eventbrite app on the screen of your iPhone or Android.

Travel from Edinburgh
There are more buses to and from Glasgow because there is more demand than from Edinburgh. However, the Glasgow pick-up point (shown on the map below) has been selected because it is a couple of minutes walk from Glasgow Queen Street railway station. So if there is not an Edinburgh bus which suits you simply catch the train to Glasgow and you can still reach Kelburn easily.
Travel from other places
All our buses are scheduled so that they can also make a shuttle run to Largs railway station to meet popular trains. Please click here for full details. Or catch the train to Glasgow Queen Street and board the Kelburn Bus there.
To offer you maximum flexibility we now only sell single tickets. One way or return, come from Edinburgh and go to Glasgow. Select whichever buses suit you.
The Late Night Service
If you need to get back but don’t want to miss any of the action we offer a Late Night Service. It departs 15 minutes after the event finishes; 04:15 for Psychedelics and 03:15 at the end of The Garden Party. These buses cost slightly more because it’s in the middle of the night – please be nice to the driver, he’s got to go all the way back to Kelburn after dropping you off.
Early Bird Tickets
We are able to provide single tickets from and to Edinburgh or Glasgow for less than the cheapest off-peak advance train fare to Largs (which is still 1.5 miles from Kelburn). Daytime tickets from and to Glasgow are £6.50 each or £13 return. Daytime tickets from and to Edinburgh are £12.50 each or £25 return. These fares are only available until midday on Friday 1 week before the event because that is when we need to confirm the bus bookings in order to qualify for the lower prices.
Late Bird Tickets
Subject to availability tickets will still be on sale in the week running up to the event but cost £1.50-2.50 more. Ticket prices will automatically change at 12 noon on Friday one week before the event.
Walk Up Tickets
In theory you could buy a ticket on your smart phone whilst stood beside the bus on Waterloo Place. However, that is unlikely because a week earlier we will have ordered the smallest suitable bus and the last few seats always go quickly. Once tickets are sold out they automatically go off sale but it is quite normal for up to 5 people to miss the bus. Any unclaimed seats can be purchased from the driver for £10 (Glasgow) or £15 (Edinburgh). Late night tickets cost £5 more.
The new system allows us to easily monitor sales and book larger buses where possible. So you may notice that the number of available tickets goes up as well as down. However, once all the seats on the largest available bus have been sold then sales will stop but the waiting list will automatically activate. As soon as enough people join the waiting list we will try to book an extra bus. You will then be emailed an invitation to pay for your seat on the new bus. It is less expensive and much more likely that you will get a seat on the bus if you book at least 1 week in advance .
Transferring to a different bus
It is now possible to transfer your ticket onto a different bus if there is space. You must pay £1 plus any difference in the cost of the ticket. Transfers are only available until the day before the first bus for that event. Find out how.
Important: Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for stowing luggage and boarding. Food and drink are not permitted to be consumed on board.
Please catch the bus from Waterloo Place in Edinburgh or outside Glasgow City Chambers on George Street (just round the corner from George Square). These locations have been chosen because they are easy walking distance from bus and train stations (see maps below). All return buses leave from outside The Pavilion which is the building beside main the campsite. The exception is the late night bus from 1-night Psychedelic events which leaves from in front of the event entrance.
