Stages, Places and Special Treats

The Kelburn Garden Party is set in a site of unrivalled beauty and mystery on Scotland’s West Coast. The festival takes place across numerous stages, nooks and spaces throughout the historic glen and stunning gardens that surround Kelburn Castle.

We pack as much music, state-of-the-art audio and lighting, performance and entertainment as we can into this unique environment, with quite often surreal and magical results. Here are some of the places you can expect to visit when you come to the festival, including the musical artists you can expect to find there.

The Landing

The Landing Stage is Kelburn’s centrepiece dance area, with state-of-the-art lighting and top quality sound, this is where we present world-class electronica, techno, drum’n’bass, house and other sounds for your delirious ears.

The Square Stage

Situated at the heart of Kelburn and the festival, the Square Stage is our biggest live stage and has hosted some memorable musical feats over the years.

The Viewpoint Stage

By night its the hub of the dance scene where you’ll find proper disco, house, techno, funk, reggae; By day the place to find leftfield treats spanning jazz, blues, electronica and more.

The Pyramid Stage

Tucked away near the Square Stage, the Pyramid is where you will find a wealth of upcoming Scottish talent spanning right across the musical spectrum. This stage is curated in association with The Skinny.

SHEELA’S Tent (Formerly Smuggler’s)

Our dedicated folk and trad venue where you can also catch some punky energy and quality world sounds, with workshops and talks in the daytime, alongside a well stocked ale bar and massive campfire.

The Saloon Bar

By day a source of wonky entertainment and games for all ages, by night the Saloon hosts a series of curated parties spanning a wide range of dance music.

Boat On The Hill

An unlikely stop on your already wacky tour of the Neverending Glen – a re-purposed fishing boat set high on a ridge overlooking the stunning Inner Hebrides.

The Neverending Glen: Beneath The Surface

The Neverending Glen is an extension of KGP that takes guests on a surreal, enchanting and stimulating multi-media adventure. Contemporary art meets ancient landscape and pop-up parties in the historic glen.

The Beech Plateau

A walk up the glen is rewarded with this hidden gem that hosts a series of pop-up parties and performances throughout the weekend.

The Giant’s Castle

One of Kelburn’s newest additions, the Giant’s Castle is situated just beyond the entrance to The Secret Forest. For the very first year, the remnants of an ancient castle that once belonged to a giant, have been transformed into a bohemian club space.

The Plaisance Lounge

Peaches In The Plaisance is an AF music cafe set in our historic Walled Garden, serving nourishing food and drinks alongside a wide range of leftfield music.

The Secret Forest

One of the gems in Kelburn’s crown, the Secret Forest is a surreal labyrinthine trail through the woods above the main festival site that includes many bizarre attractions and hidden grottos.

Twin Peaks Cabaret & Circus

Workshop space by day and eclectic cabaret venue by night, with a cocktail bar included!

Hometown Corner

Tucked away in a beautiful clearing under the trees you’ll find a newly established area for Kelburn in 2024 – “Hometown Corner”, curated by Glasgow’s own reggae rub a dub rockers Hometown Sound System.

The BlundaBus

The world famous and award-winning Edinburgh Fringe venue on wheels is back at Kelburn with a hilarious programme of comedy and entertainment for kids and adults.

The Clearing at the Monument

Nestled deep in the Kelburn Glen amidst the Garden Party festivities this July, you’ll find a new folk stage and bar: The Clearing at The Monument, where songs, stories, and sonic traditions unite in a gathering of likeminded forest wanderers.

The Summerfield

The village is the festival hub for crafts, stalls and food. You’ll find a range of hand-picked traders offering everything from fine quality food to mind-expanding workshops.

The Tea Cave

Take a breather as you make your way up the glen at this hidden gem – fresh herbal tea, shisha’s and song are on the menu, and some very comfy cushions if everything is too much and you just need a wee snooze!

Retreat Corner & Spa

The Retreat offers an opportunity to connect with yourself through a range of wellness practices.

Clyde Coast Sauna

Need a break from the festival madness and dancing? Or just fancy something a little different between acts? Step into the heat and discover one of Kelburn’s most unique festival experiences. Clyde Coast Saunas is the perfect place to catch your breath, hang out with friends, meet new people and soak up the festival atmosphere

The Campsite

Grassy and spacious, just minutes from the festival site and affording stunning West Coast views and amazing sunsets, there can be few campsites quite like Kelburns!
