Alex is as semina DJ known for playing a variety of sounds and styles across the Black Music spectrum. Through his Eglo Records label and NTS show, he is responsible for helping shape London’s sonic underground for the best part of twenty years. Alex returns to Kelburn following his iconic Viewpoint set for us back in 2018.
Born and raised in London, Shy One (born Mali Larrington-Nelson) has always been influenced by the broad spectrum of sounds her city encapsulates, from jazz to grime to classic house and R&B. Her ability to carefully incorporate different styles into her DJ sets and music productions has led her to become one of the most eclectic voices in the UK electronic scene.
