Majesty Palm are a pop duo from Glasgow known for their enticing blend of dream pop, electronica and big bassy hooks. Taking inspiration as much from 1980s bands Tears for Fears and The Blue Nile as they do from Olivia Dean and Dua Lipa, Majesty Palm evoke the vintage sound of new wave with a modern funk flourish.
The band’s meteoric rise has taken them to headline shows at King Tut’s and the stages of TRNSMT, and in 2023 they were named Best Newcomer at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards in 2023. The following year, they made the shortlist for 2024’s BBC Introducing Scottish Act of the Year.
