Ron Yonder is a Glasgow-based DJ and producer. He runs the label Garden of Soon and is one half of Opal Nights, who are taking over the Giant’s Castle at this year’s festival. Whilst his radio shows mostly focus on ambient and experimental work, his DJ sets traverse all manner of off-kilter dance music.
He plays a contemporary blend of weirdo club music that’s as much for the body as it is for the mind and spirit. Expect a hypnagogic climb through various terrain, with the occasional curveball. His palette tends to draw from balearic, Italo, new beat, ebm, house, acid, and beyond.
