Sean Focus is a Zimbabwean-born, Edinburgh-based artist blending afro-pop, hip hop and dancehall into a bold Afrofusion sound. Raised on the pulse of southern Africa and sharpened by the raw edges of Scotland, he creates a sound that carries warmth, urgency and undeniable presence.
Known for electrifying live shows and genre-fluid production, Sean fuses Fuses heritage and lived experience into music described as “survival as melody, memory as rhythm, and future-facing energy.”
He featured on Bemz’s breakout single Raging Bull (2022), which led to festival shows at TRNSMT, Riverside Festival, and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Sean’s recent single “Desire” gained strong support from BBC 1Xtra, where he was spotlighted by Theo Johnson as Step Up Artist (2024).
