Inspired by azadi – freedom – and the age old Middle Eastern tradition of dancing the night away, Shahrazadi (Hajar and Nara) are coming to make their Kelburn debut this year.
Having recently left the UK, the two are returning and reuniting to bring us their signature sound of Arabic bass, electro, heavy percussion, jersey club, trap and high energy tunes. Their sets are dynamic, working with the crowd to build something special while being in full control of the wheel.
They have an incredible ability to make a safe space for people to be authentically themselves on the dance floor and to connect deeply with the music they play. The dance floor during a Shahrazadi set is truly something special – an experience you won’t soon forget.
